The lamp that I bought do not look quite the same as in the pictures. Why?

Sometimes we are forced to make some changes in design or size of the fixture will be as good and safe as possible. Answer: None of Markslöjds recessed lighting may be used in a sauna. Markslöjd has only fixtures for placement in the bathroom (IP21, IP23, IP44).

Q: My light pole begin to see a worn and dull. What can I do?
Answer: We recommend to lubricate your lamppost with any oil or the like. Ex. linseed oil. This protects the pole. Do you live near the ocean, you have to lubricate it several times during the year.

Answer: In most of Markslöjds fixtures, this is not possible. The damage to the fixture no guarantees.

Question: How do you remove lamps from your fixtures? (GU10 & GU10mini)?
A: Attach the included suction cup on the lamp glass and then turn left.

Question: Is it possible to dim a CFL?
Answer: Generally no, but there are CFLs that are dimmable.

Question: How do I find out in which shop I can buy a specific lamp?
Answer: Search our reseller and call or visit a store in your neighborhood. Have they no light at home, it takes usually no more than a few days before the delivery by us are in the store.

Q: Is it possible to buy loose paper stars?
Answer: No.

Question: On the product information is the Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3.
What are these different classes?
Answer:

All fixtures are labeled with the type of installation class to which they belong.



- Class I means that the fixture should be connected to a grounded outlet.



- Class II means that the sensor is "double insulated" and must not be grounded.



- Class III means the luminaire is equipped with a transformer that is not "built-in". 

   The transformer is therefore able to disconnect and replace.
